About Biotechgate
In 2004, based on the requirement to have access to accurate and up-to-date industry intelligence, Venture Valuation implemented the Swiss Life Sciences Database. Information in this database, and subsequently created country portals, is encompassed in Biotechgate, the comprehensive, global Life Sciences Database.
Using a bottom-up approach and partnering with local companies, Venture Valuation catalogues and categorizes Life Sciences firms including Biotech, Pharma and Medtech companies, as well as associated suppliers, consultancies, investors, and non-profit organizations. Company profiles contain contact information, descriptions, details of products and/or services, and information regarding finance and management. Currently the database contains over 10 000 company profiles, and more than 20 country portals are available, such as:

The Biotechgate database is compatible with the partnering software PartneringOne provided exclusively by EBD Group and also developed by Venture Valuation. This state-of-the-art software allows efficient arrangement of one-to-one meetings at international life sciences conferences enabling attendees to exploit their time more effectively. This compatibility also contributes to the maintaining of up-to-date information in Biotechgate.
